Welfare Centre Onni - Pukkila, Finland
Welfare Centre Onni is recognised for its architectural diversity, on behalf of architects Liisa and Markku Sievänen. In 2009, the centre was even given an award for its remarkable level of accessibility.
The Onninkoti homes provide assisted housing for people suffering from dementia, as well as for elderly people who can no longer live at home or in an assisted living flat. Their objective is to promote overall well-being and health, while recognising the diversity that accompanies aging.
Korpinen products are implemented at Onni to promote independence in the centre’s sanitary facilities.
